Definition and Usage
The eq() method returns an element with a specific index number of the selected elements.
The index numbers start at 0, so the first element will have the index number 0 (not 1).
Syntax
$(selector).eq(index)
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| index | Required. Specifies the index of the element. Can either be a positive or negative number. Note: Using a negative number will start the index count from the end of the selected elements, instead of the beginning. |
